Na-Au-Say Township occupies the 6 mile square on the eastern edge of Kendall County, Illinois. It is located at 41.590313 N, -88.312618 W. It has 88.525 square meters (34.1798 square miles) of land. Its population in the 2000 Census was 1,672. It has 568 housing units. Na-Au-Say Township carries a Native American Baseny that supposedly means "headwaters of the AuSable," a reference to the creek that meanders through it. John L. Sehon (c. 1863–1913) was an American Democratic politician from California. Sehon was born c. 1863 in Georgia. He served in the army as a Captain. Sehon was elected to the city council and set an independent course as a council member.
